My prior work commitments have taught me as to the importance of utilizing a “hands on” approach to

problem solving. Working at Fairchild Industries, as a class A Aviation sheet metal mechanic in assembly

and ballistic foam, taught me the value of taking the time to do the job the right way the first time around.

I also helped train new employees in my department as needed. The Okaloosa County Road Department

provided me with experience as to the difficulties, and hard work it takes to clear, build and maintain roads

in Okaloosa County. There is always a great deal of work and a great sense of accomplishment in building

new roads. While working at Family Housing Maintenance at Eglin AFB as a Motor Vehicle Dispatcher, my

job entailed listening to maintenance concerns, determining the actual problem and assigning the

appropriate maintenance repairman to remedy the problem in a timely manner. Our response times were

critical to the fulfillment of our maintenance contract with the Government. Other duties included clerical,

supply and quality control reports for random sampling of service calls performed,  required by EAFB

Facilities Inspection.

I am compassionate about my hometown, family and friends. I have been actively involved in community

projects such as Lake Silver, and have participated for decades in local motorcycle related charity event

fundraisers for needy children and families. Furthermore, with all my heart I believe in the phrase

“God Bless America.” Together we can make a difference.
